A Year of TotalBoat Workshop

2016 has been very kind to the team at TotalBoatShow.com. With Master Shipwright Louis Sauzedde working on the TotalBoat Skiff and providing videos weekly (ok – we gave him this week and last week off…), we have a growing fanbase for Lou and his skiff build and for all thing TotalBoat.

Catch up on all 23 episodes of the TotalBoat Workskiff so far by binge watching them on this playlist – so when January 6th rolls around, you are up-to-date and ready to watch episode 24.

In addition, the TotalBoat Workshop has been very busy with cool restorations like the Vela Project, renovations, product testing and development and plenty of Shop Night! Keep up with it on the TotalBoat.com workshop blogroll where we add content often and will have much to come when things slow down enough come springtime.

We appreciate your customer stories, photos and videos and will even be publishing a whole customer story from a photo contest submission in the May 2017 catalog. We want to feature the work and the boats that you care about – and we figure that real customer stories will satiate your appetite for all of that and more!

Happy New Year to all of our readers, customers and fans. Thanks for a great 2016. Lots of great things are coming in 2017 and we can’t wait. Stick with us!

  1. Great video of the workboat build ! I have built three wood skiffs over the last few years, two 14ft and a 16 ft dory, all plywood over frame and fiberglassed. Learned some new tricks from your project for sure! Just curious on the cost of materials for this project? Just turned 72 in June and got an itch to do another one….. Thanks from Virginia Beach, VA.
